Telus (TU) Tops Q1 EPS by 3c, Updates FY Guidance

Telus (NYSE: TU) reported Q1 EPS of Cdn$0.74, Cdn$0.03 better than the analyst estimate of Cdn$0.71. Revenue for the quarter came in at Cdn$3.2 billion versus the consensus estimate of Cdn$3.22 billion.

GUIDANCE:

Telus sees FY2017 EPS of Cdn$2.49-Cdn$2.66, versus the consensus of Cdn$2.73. Telus sees FY2017 revenue of Cdn$13.2-13.3 million, versus the consensus of Cdn$13.2 million.
