First Solar (FSLR) Tops Q1 EPS by 38c, Raises FY 2017 Guidance

First Solar (NASDAQ: FSLR) reported Q1 EPS of $0.25, $0.38 better than the analyst estimate of ($0.13). Revenue for the quarter came in at $892 million versus the consensus estimate of $667.8 million.

GUIDANCE:

First Solar sees FY2017 Non-GAAP EPS of $0.25-$0.75, versus the consensus of $0.32. First Solar sees FY2017 GAAP revenue of $2.85-2.95 billion, versus the consensus of $2.78 billion.
