Lab Corp. (LH) Tops Q1 EPS by 2c, Lowers FY EPS Guidance

Lab Corp. (NYSE: LH) reported Q1 EPS of $2.22, $0.02 better than the analyst estimate of $2.20. Revenue for the quarter came in at $2.41 billion versus the consensus estimate of $2.41 billion.

GUIDANCE:

Lab Corp. sees FY2017 EPS of $9.20-$9.60, versus the consensus of $9.58.

• Net revenue growth of 3.5% to 5.5% over 2016 net revenue of $9.44 billion
