OraSure Technologies and John B. Sanfilippo & Son Set to Join S&P SmallCap 600

NEW YORK, March 20, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- S&P Dow Jones Indices will make the following changes to the S&P SmallCap 600:

• OraSure Technologies Inc. (NASD: OSUR) will replace G&K Services Inc. (NASD: GK) in the S&P SmallCap 600 effective prior to the open on Thursday, March 23. S&P 500 constituent Cintas Corp. (NASD: CTAS) is acquiring G&K Services in a deal expected to be completed soon pending final conditions.

• John B. Sanfilippo & Son Inc. (NASD: JBSS) will replace Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen Inc. (NASD: PLKI) in the S&P SmallCap 600 effective prior to the open on Monday, March 27. Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen is being acquired in a deal expected to be completed soon pending final conditions.

OraSure Technologies develops, manufacturers, markets, and sells oral fluid diagnostic products and specimen collection devices. Headquartered in Bethlehem, PA, the company will be added to the S&P SmallCap 600 GICS (Global Industry Classification Standard) Health Care Supplies Sub-Industry index.

John B. Sanfilippo & Son processes and distributes peanuts and tree nut products. Headquartered in Elgin, IL, the company will be added to the S&P SmallCap 600 GICS Packaged Foods & Meats Sub-Industry index.
