CVS Health (CVS) Tops Q4 EPS by 4c; Confirms Outlook

CVS Health (NYSE: CVS) reported Q4 EPS of $1.71, $0.04 better than the analyst estimate of $1.67. Revenue for the quarter came in at $46 billion versus the consensus estimate of $46.5 billion.

  • Net revenues increased 11.7% to $46.0 billion
  • Operating profit in line with Company\'s expectations
  • GAAP diluted EPS from continuing operations of $1.59
  • Adjusted EPS of $1.71, an increase of 11.8%

GUIDANCE:

CVS Health sees FY2017 EPS of $5.77-$5.93, versus the consensus of $5.86.

  • Full year GAAP diluted EPS of $5.02 to $5.18
  • Full year Adjusted EPS of $5.77 to $5.93
  • First quarter GAAP diluted EPS of $0.82 to $0.88
  • First quarter Adjusted EPS of $1.07 to $1.13
  • Full year cash flow from operations of $7.7 to $8.6 billion and free cash flow of $6.0 to $6.4 billion
