Mizuho Securities maintains Buy on PayPal (NASDAQ: PYPL) price target of $48.00.
Analyst Neil Doshi comments "PayPal posted solid 4Q results with 1Q17 and 2017 guidance that bracketed expectations due to stronger than expected FX headwinds for 2017. What impressed us was sustained strong momentum in new customer accounts, TPV growth, & engagement. We also like the better-than-expected take-rate and note YoY declines in take-rate have improved for three consecutive quarters. We believe that TPV growth can accelerate in 2017 as Customer Choice initiatives are materialized, and we could see more margin expansion in 2017 from better OpEx controls. We remain buyers of the stock."
