Citi analsyt David Driscoll said while the consensus is that Kraft Heinz Company (NYSE: KHC) targets Mondelez Int'l (NASDAQ: MDLZ) in a takeover, they believe probabilities have now shifted more towards a takeover of General Mills (NYSE: GIS) and Kellogg (NYSE: K). Driscoll cited the election of Trump and the expected economic and fiscal policies.

"While our sense is that Mondelez is the consensus expectation, we think the probabilities have now shifted more towards General Mills and Kellogg given of the outcome of the U.S. Presidential election and the expected economic & fiscal policies on the horizon," he commented.

While Driscoll is not ruling out Mondelez, he sees all three yielding substantial benefits.
