Dollar Tree (DLTR) Misses Q2 EPS by 1c; Updates FY16 Outlook

Dollar Tree (NASDAQ: DLTR) reported Q2 EPS of $0.72, $0.01 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.73. Revenue for the quarter came in at $5.02 billion versus the consensus estimate of $5.09 billion.

Comps rose 1.2%.

GUIDANCE:

Dollar Tree sees Q3 2016 EPS of $0.76-$0.82, versus the consensus of $0.76.

Dollar Tree sees FY2016 EPS of $3.67-$3.82, versus prior guidance of $3.58-$3.80 and the consensus of $3.78. Dollar Tree sees FY2016 revenue of $20.7-20.9 billion, versus the consensus of $21.0 billion.
