Baxter (BAX) Tops Q2 EPS by 6c; Boosts FY16 EPS Outlook

Baxter (NYSE: BAX) reported Q2 EPS of $0.46, $0.06 better than the analyst estimate of $0.40. Revenue for the quarter came in at $2.6 billion versus the consensus estimate of $2.52 billion.

GUIDANCE:

Baxter sees Q3 2016 EPS of $0.43-$0.45, versus the consensus of $0.42.

Baxter sees FY2016 EPS of $1.69-$1.74, versus prior guidance of $1.59-$1.67 and the consensus of $1.64.
