AeroVironment (AVAV) Tops Q4 EPS Views; Guides FY17

AeroVironment (Nasdaq: AVAV) reported Q4 EPS of $0.23, versus the analyst estimate of ($0.07). Revenue for the quarter came in at $84.8 million versus the consensus estimate of $85.29 million.

As of April 30, 2016, funded backlog (unfilled firm orders for which funding is currently appropriated to us under a customer contract) was $65.8 million compared to $64.7 million as of April 30, 2015.

GUIDANCE:

AeroVironment sees FY2017 EPS of $0.20-$0.35, versus the consensus of $0.28. AeroVironment sees FY2017 revenue of $260-280 million, versus the consensus of $284.7 million.
