Newell Rubbermaid (NWL) Tops Q1 EPS by 2c

Newell Rubbermaid (NYSE: NWL) reported Q1 EPS of $0.40, $0.02 better than the analyst estimate of $0.38. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.31 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.29 billion.

GUIDANCE:

Newell Rubbermaid sees FY2016 EPS of $2.75-$2.90, versus the consensus of $2.64.
