Marathon Petroleum (MPC) Posts Q4 GAAP EPS of 35c

Marathon Petroleum (NYSE: MPC) reported Q4 EPS of $0.35, which may not compare with the analyst estimate of $0.69. Revenue for the quarter came in at $15.7 billion versus the consensus estimate of $16.35 billion.

Q4 EPS includes a pretax charge of $370 million ($0.44 per diluted share) to value inventories at the lower of cost or market; full-year earnings of $2.85 billion ($5.26 per diluted share).
