Cirrus Logic, Inc. (CRUS) Tops Q3 EPS by 1c, Q4 Guidance Falls Short

Cirrus Logic, Inc. (NASDAQ: CRUS) reported Q3 EPS of $0.82, $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of $0.81. Revenue for the quarter came in at $347.9 million versus the consensus estimate of $346.88 million.

GUIDANCE:

Cirrus Logic, Inc. sees Q4 2016 revenue of $210-240 million, versus the consensus of $260.27 million.

• GAAP gross margin is expected to be between 47 percent and 49 percent; and
• Combined GAAP R&D and SG&A expenses are expected to range between $100 million and $104 million, which includes approximately $8 million in share-based compensation and $9 million in amortization of acquired intangibles.
