Santander Consumer USA (SC) Misses Q4 EPS by 38c

Santander Consumer USA (NYSE: SC) reported Q4 EPS of $0.19, $0.38 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.57. Revenue for the quarter came in at $0 versus the consensus estimate of $1.7 billion.

Fourth quarter 2015 earnings were negatively impacted by lower of cost or market ("LOCM") adjustments on the held for sale personal lending portfolio, driven by seasonal balance increases.
