Anthem (ANTM) Misses Q4 EPS by 8c

Anthem (NYSE: ANTM) reported Q4 EPS of $1.14, $0.08 worse than the analyst estimate of $1.22. Revenue for the quarter came in at $20.02 billion versus the consensus estimate of $19.9 billion.

Medical enrollment totaled approximately 38.6 million members as of December 31, 2015 and increased by 1.1 million lives during 2015.

GUIDANCE:

Anthem sees FY2016 EPS of $10.80, versus the consensus of $10.88.
