Kinder Morgan (NYSE: KMI) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.125 per share, or $0.5 annualized. This is a 75.5% decrease from the prior dividend of $0.51.
The dividend will be payable on February 15, 2016, to stockholders of record on February 1, 2016, with an ex-dividend date of January 28, 2016.
The annual yield on the dividend is 4.1 percent.
Consistent with KMI's 2016 guidance provided on Dec. 8, 2015, KMI expects to declare dividends of $0.50 per share for 2016 and use cash in excess of dividend payments to fully fund growth investments.
