Kroger (KR) Tops Q3 EPS by 4c; Boosts FY16 EPS Outlook

Kroger (NYSE: KR) reported Q3 EPS of $0.43, $0.04 better than the analyst estimate of $0.39. Revenue for the quarter came in at $25.1 billion versus the consensus estimate of $25.24 billion.

Identical supermarket sales grew 5.4 percent, excluding fuel.

GUIDANCE:

Kroger sees FY2016 EPS of $2.02-$2.04, versus the consensus of $2.00.
