Kirkland's (NASDAQ: KIRK) reported Q2 EPS of ($0.11), in-line with the analyst estimate of ($0.11). Revenue for the quarter came in at $115.3 million versus the consensus estimate of $115.64 million.
Comparable store sales for the second quarter of fiscal 2015, including e-commerce sales, increased 6.7% compared with a comparable store sales increase of 3.6% in the prior-year quarter. Kirkland's opened nine stores and did not close any stores during the second quarter, bringing the total number of stores to 351 at quarter end.
Kirkland's sees FY2015 EPS of $0.02-$0.05, versus the consensus of $0.11. Kirkland's sees FY2015 revenue of $130-132 million, versus the consensus of $131.23 million.
