AeroVironment (AVAV) Tops Q4 EPS by 14c; Issues FY16 Revenue Outlook

AeroVironment (NASDAQ: AVAV) reported Q4 EPS of $0.32, $0.14 better than the analyst estimate of $0.18. Revenue for the quarter came in at $86.5 million versus the consensus estimate of $85.71 million.

As of April 30, 2015, funded backlog (unfilled firm orders for which funding is currently appropriated to us under a customer contract) was $64.7 million compared to $65.9 million as of April 30, 2014.

AeroVironment sees FY2016 revenue of $260-280 million, versus the consensus of $277.3 million.
