LINN Energy (LINE) Posts Q1 Loss of $1.03/Share

LINN Energy (NASDAQ: LINE) reported Q1 EPS of ($1.03), which may not compare with the analyst estimate of ($0.19). Revenue for the quarter came in at $917 million versus the consensus estimate of $762.99 million.

The loss includes non-cash impairment charges of approximately $533 million, or $1.61 per unit, and non-cash gains related to changes in fair value of unsettled commodity derivatives of approximately $149 million, or $0.45 per unit; and
