Noble Corp (NE) Misses Q4 EPS by 2c, Defers MLP

Noble Corp (NYSE: NE) reported Q4 EPS of $0.47, $0.02 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.49. Revenue for the quarter came in at $804.7 million versus the consensus estimate of $807.69 million.
The Company has decided it will no longer market the semisubmersibles Noble Paul Wolff, Noble Driller and Noble Jim Thompson and plans to retire these three units.
The Company also stated that it had decided to defer indefinitely the development of a master limited partnership (MLP), citing the structure's diminished appeal resulting from the decline in offshore market fundamentals.
