UPDATE: Monro Muffler (MNRO) Reports In-Line Q3 EPS; Lowers FY15 EPS Midpoint

Monro Muffler (NASDAQ: MNRO) reported Q3 EPS of $0.49, in-line with the analyst estimate of $0.49. Revenue for the quarter came in at $236.6 million versus the consensus estimate of $233.97 million.

Comps fell 1.8 percent. Comparable store sales increased approximately 10 percent for alignments and 2 percent for brakes. Comparable store sales decreased approximately 1 percent for exhaust, 2 percent for front end/shocks and 3 percent for tires and maintenance services.

The company sees Q4 EPS of $0.36 - $0.40, with consensus estimates at $0.41. Sees Q4 comps growth at unchanged to positive 2 percent.

The Company now anticipates fiscal 2015 comparable store sales to be in the range of approximately flat to a
decrease of .5 percent. EPS expected at $1.86 - $1.90, from $1.85 - $1.95 and the consensus at $1.91.
