RPM International (RPM) Misses Q2 EPS by 3c; Updates FY15 EPS Outlook; Guides FY16 EPS

RPM International (NYSE: RPM) reported Q2 EPS of $0.52, $0.03 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.55. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.07 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.12 billion.

"Second-quarter operating performance was mixed, with stronger sales in our businesses serving the U.S. commercial construction market offset by weaker results in Europe, a continued unfavorable year-over-year trend from our Kirker nail enamels business and the negative impact of foreign currency," stated Frank C. Sullivan, chairman and chief executive officer.

RPM International sees FY2015 EPS of $2.25-$2.30, versus the consensus of $2.40.

RPM International sees FY2016 EPS of $2.70-$2.80, versus the consensus of $2.79.
