Commercial Metals (CMC) Tops Q1 EPS by 2c

Commercial Metals (NYSE: CMC) reported Q1 EPS of $0.30, $0.02 better than the analyst estimate of $0.28. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.7 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.77 billion.

Adjusted EBITDA from continuing operations was $106.4 million for the first quarter of fiscal 2015, compared with adjusted EBITDA from continuing operations of $102.3 million for the first quarter of fiscal 2014.
