Shore Bancshares names B. Scot Ebron as bank president

Shore Bancshares, Inc. (NASDAQ: SHBI), the parent company of Shore United Bank, N.A., announced that the bank's Board of Directors has appointed B. Scot Ebron as President of Shore United Bank, N.A. Ebron was also appointed to the bank's Board of Directors.

James M. Burke will remain Chief Executive Officer of the bank and President and Chief Executive Officer of Shore Bancshares, Inc.

Ebron has served as the bank's Chief Banking Officer since Shore United Bank's combination with Community Bank of the Chesapeake in 2023. Before that, he held the role of Chief Banking Officer at Community Bank of the Chesapeake.
