One Stop Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: OSS) has appointed Paul Averna as Vice President Business Development and Growth, according to a company statement. Averna, who goes by "PK," will focus on market expansion and revenue development across defense and commercial sectors.

Averna most recently served as Vice President of VX Marine, where he developed solutions for naval customers. Before that, he spent more than seven years as Vice President and General Manager of the Advanced Training Solutions business unit at Cubic Corporation. He has also held roles at Fozzie Miller Group, Three Wire Systems, Micro Focus, and Addx Corporation.

One Stop Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: OSS) announced an $8.4 million initial contract from an unnamed defense and technology solutions company to deliver 91 high-performance 3U short-depth servers designed for surveillance of low-band signals.

The Escondido, Calif.-based company said the servers are built to process large volumes of signal surveillance data and provide real-time AI analysis for the U.S. Department of Defense. The units feature a compact 20-inch depth, removable NVMe storage canisters, and a secure single-command data erase capability.

OSS said it expects first shipments to begin in 2026. The company stated the platform has the potential to generate approximately $44 million
