Nexalin Technology Inc. (NASDAQ: NXL) completed an 8-week clinical trial in Brazil demonstrating a 77.8% anxiety response rate using its neurostimulation device. The study evaluated the company's 15 milliamp, 77.5 Hz treatment protocol in adults with generalized anxiety disorder and comorbid insomnia.

The single-center, open-label trial conducted at the Institute of Psychiatry, Hospital das Clínicas, University of São Paulo involved participants receiving 20 sessions of transcranial alternating current stimulation over four weeks, followed by a four-week follow-up period. Each session lasted 40 minutes using the Nexalin DIFS device.
