DA Davidson Reiterates Neutral Rating on BancFirst (BANF)

DA Davidson analyst Gary Tenner reiterated a Neutral rating and $125.00 price target on BancFirst (NASDAQ: BANF).

The analyst commented, "BANF announced the acquisition of Spirit BankCorp, a $940M asset bank with operations in Bristow, Sapulpa, and Tulsa, OK. While certain transaction details are yet to be finalized, subject to additional due diligence, we anticipate the transaction is modestly accretive to 2027E EPS. To the positive, it increases BANF's density in the Tulsa market, where it has the number three deposit market shares, and provides two branches in healthy community bank markets. BancFirst to acquire SpiritBank in $939.6 million asset deal

BancFirst Corporation (NASDAQ: BANF) announced it has entered into an agreement to acquire Spirit BankCorp, Inc. and its subsidiary SpiritBank, a privately held community bank headquartered in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Spirit operates with approximately $939.6 million in total assets, $618.4 million in loans, and $847.2 million in deposits. The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2026, subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions.

"Oklahoma is our home and we are excited to bring two outstanding communities, Bristow and Sapulpa, into our family. Expanding our Tulsa base is equally valuable," said David Harlow, CEO of BancFirst Corporation.
