Ambiq Micro, Inc. (NYSE: AMBQ), an Austin, Texas-based semiconductor company, announced the commencement of an underwritten public offering of 1,800,000 shares of its common stock.

The company also expects to grant underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 270,000 shares at the public offering price, less underwriting discounts and commissions.

BofA Securities and UBS Investment Bank are acting as joint lead book-running managers for the offering. Needham & Company, Stifel, and Roth Capital Partners are serving as joint book-running managers.
