Pony.ai and BAIC BJEV announced an expanded strategic partnership to accelerate development and commercialization of autonomous driving technology. The companies will collaborate on vehicle design, manufacturing, and operations for robotaxi deployment.

Under the agreement, the companies will jointly develop purpose-built robotaxi models and optimize vehicle architectures for autonomous operations. The partnership extends beyond vehicle development to include user acquisition, fleet operations, and maintenance services.
