Ribbon Communications Inc. (Nasdaq: RBBN) announced that Comporium, a regional broadband and voice services provider, has selected Ribbon technology to modernize its voice infrastructure, according to a press release.

Ribbon is supplying Comporium with a network transformation solution that includes the vC20 Call Controller and Application Server. The solution is designed to reduce physical footprint and power consumption compared to legacy TDM infrastructure and dedicated ATCA-based hardware platforms.
