Supernus names MERGE as agency of record for its CNS portfolio
Supernus Pharmaceuticals (Nasdaq: SUPN) has expanded its partnership with marketing and technology agency MERGE, naming the firm as its Agency of Record for its central nervous system portfolio, according to a press release.
The agreement extends MERGE's existing relationship with Supernus beyond the company's Parkinson's disease portfolio to include QELBREE® (viloxazine extended-release capsules), a non-stimulant treatment for ADHD. MERGE will also assume oversight of Supernus' digital ecosystem, including website development and CRM operations.
MERGE will continue supporting Supernus' Parkinson's disease brands: APOKYN® (apomorphine hydrochloride), GOCOVRI® (amantadine extended-release capsules), and ONAPGO™ (apomorphine hydrochloride). The agency will lead omnichannel marketing strategy across the portfolio and support two sales forces.
"MERGE has been a trusted partner, consistently delivering innovative strategies and high-quality execution," said Rebecca Lannan, Vice President of Marketing at Supernus. "This expanded role reflects that MERGE is not only our digital AOR but also a comprehensive partner whose support spans all our personal promotion efforts."
Pat McGloin, Managing Director at MERGE, described the agreement as "the evolution of a dynamic, seven-year relationship," adding that broadening focus to manage Supernus' digital ecosystem and QELBREE was "a natural extension of our successful partnership."
MERGE has approximately 700 employees across offices in Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Denver, Kansas City, Los Angeles, New York, and Raleigh.
