Visteon Corporation (NASDAQ: VC) has appointed Gary Hicok to its board of directors, effective July 1, according to a press release. Hicok will serve on the board's Technology Committee.

Hicok spent nearly 25 years at Nvidia, where he served as Senior Vice President across multiple business units. He led Nvidia's Automotive business and also oversaw its Mobile (Tegra) and PC core logic divisions. He directed Xbox chip development programs and contributed to infrastructure for AI-driven platforms and robotics systems.

Before Nvidia, Hicok held engineering and business roles at Trident Microsystems, Cirrus Logic, and VLSI Technology. Earlier in his career, he developed custom processor systems for military flight simulators. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University and is named on 40 U.S. patents.

Francis Scricco, chair of Visteon's board, said Hicok's "leadership in building Nvidia's automotive business and advancing complex computing platforms will provide valuable perspective as Visteon continues to accelerate innovation for software-defined vehicles and next-generation cockpit solutions."

Visteon, headquartered in Van Buren Township, Michigan, recorded annual sales of approximately $3.77 billion in 2025 and operates in 17 countries.
