Array Technologies launches dual-row DuraTrack D2S solar tracker for EMEA

June 16, 2026 4:30 PM

Array Technologies (NASDAQ: ARRY) announced the launch of its DuraTrack D2S solar tracker, a two-row format product derived from the company's existing DuraTrack system, targeting international markets, according to a company press release dated June 16, 2026.

The product launched first in the EMEA region, with its first commercial installation beginning construction in Spain in Q1 2026. Spanish solar developer Salix Solar is the initial commercial customer.

DuraTrack D2S includes three features carried over from Array's existing DuraTrack product line. The first is Array Wind XP, a passive wind stow technology the company claims can offer an energy yield benefit of up to 4%. The second is OmniTrack terrain-following capability, which the company says reduces the need for land grading during construction. The third is SmarTrack software, which the company says supports backtracking and weather response functions.

Array states the product is intended to lower upfront capital expenditure through faster installation and greater design flexibility on constrained land, while reducing ongoing maintenance costs.

"D2S represents the next evolution of ARRAY's portfolio and our continued commitment to advancing smarter, more resilient solar racking solutions," said Nick Strevel, Chief Product Officer of Array Technologies.

Array Technologies is headquartered in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and reports having more than 100 gigawatts of solar trackers awarded or installed worldwide.
