Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NASDAQ: ARWR) announced that its Board of Directors appointed Dr. Matt Cohen, M.D., M.B.A., as a director of the company, effective June 12, 2026.

Dr. Cohen currently serves as Managing Director at Vida Ventures, a position he has held since 2025. Prior to that, he spent two decades at JP Morgan Asset Management, where he served as a portfolio manager and lead growth-focused healthcare investor starting in 2005. His roles there included lead portfolio manager of the JP Morgan Global Healthcare Fund and co-portfolio manager of the JP Morgan Small Cap Growth Fund.

Before joining JP Morgan Asset Management, Dr. Cohen was a senior analyst at Medici Healthcare from 2003 to 2005 and at Narragansett Asset Management from 2000 to 2003, both New York-based healthcare hedge funds. Earlier in his career, he worked as a categorical resident surgeon in the Department of General Surgery at North Shore University Hospital – NYU School of Medicine.

Dr. Cohen holds an M.B.A. from New York University's Stern School of Business and an M.D. from McGill University in Montreal.
