M&T Bank adds Delaware North CEO Jerry Jacobs Jr. to its board
M&T Bank Corporation (NYSE: MTB) elected Jerry Jacobs Jr., chief executive officer of Delaware North, to its Board of Directors, effective June 16, 2026, according to a press release from the Buffalo, New York-based financial holding company.
Jacobs was also elected to the board of M&T Bank, M&T's principal banking subsidiary.
Jacobs has led Delaware North, a hospitality and entertainment company with operations in sports venues, parks, gaming, hotels and food service, since 2015. He shares the chief executive title with his brothers, Lou and Charlie. He joined Delaware North in 1986 and previously led its Sportservice division. He also serves as an alternate governor to the Boston Bruins.
René Jones, M&T chairman and chief executive officer, said Jacobs brings "a strong track record of leadership and operational execution, along with deep ties to Western New York."
Jacobs holds a bachelor's degree from Georgetown University and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
M&T Bank operates a branch and ATM network spanning the eastern U.S. from Maine to Virginia and Washington, D.C.
