June 16, 2026 9:04 AM

Digi International (NASDAQ: DGII) announced the Digi TX65, a family of rugged 5G vehicle and industrial routers targeting transportation fleets, traffic management systems, and distributed field operations.

The TX65 consolidates 5G networking, GNSS, Wi-Fi 7, and serial connectivity into a single device, built on the Qualcomm SDX72 3GPP Release 17 platform. The device supports Dual SIM Dual Standby technology, HPUE Class 2 and Class 1.5 uplink power, and tri-band dual concurrent Wi-Fi 7. It carries IP64 protection and operates in temperatures from -40°C to +75°C.

The product line includes three models: the TX65-5B-1N with a single 5G modem; the TX65-5B-2N adding a second tri-band dual concurrent Wi-Fi 7 radio; and the TX65-5B5A-2N featuring dual 5G modems for multi-carrier redundancy. All models include FIPS 140-3 validated security, eSIM support, and management through Digi Remote Manager, the company's SOC 2 Type 2 verified cloud platform. The devices are TAA compliant and aligned with Buy America and BABA procurement requirements.

The TX65 also supports FirstNet, CBRS, and Verizon Frontline network deployments.

Tony Puopolo, President of Digi Managed Solutions, said the platform "covers all their needs" for customers requiring connectivity across small vehicles through large passenger buses, light rail, or command vehicles.

Customer samples are available now, with general availability shipments expected in July 2026 through Digi's global sales channels and authorized partners.
