SuperCom signs Sweden monitoring contract worth up to $75M
SuperCom (NASDAQ: SPCB) has signed and launched a national electronic monitoring contract with Sweden's Prison and Probation Services, according to a company press release dated June 16, 2026.
The contract value is estimated to range from $17 million in a base case scenario to $75 million, a budget figure published by the customer. Actual revenues recognized by SuperCom will depend on usage levels.
The contract was awarded through a five-company competitive bid process and covers all of Sweden's prison and probation electronic monitoring programs. It allows for expansion to up to 6,000 active offenders, which the company describes as approximately six times the scale of a previous contract it held with the same customer beginning in 2019.
Under the agreement, SuperCom will deploy its PureSecurity Electronic Monitoring Suite across programs including GPS tracking, home detention monitoring, and indoor facility monitoring. The contract also includes potential expansion to services such as alcohol monitoring, the PureOne GPS solution, and the Pure Officer mobile device for supervising officers.
"With a published budget of $75 million, this is potentially the largest electronic monitoring contract in SuperCom's history," said Ordan Trabelsi, President and CEO of SuperCom.
