PitchBook integrates its data into Samaya AI's agent platform

June 16, 2026 9:00 AM

PitchBook, a subsidiary of Morningstar, Inc., announced a partnership with Samaya AI to integrate PitchBook's private market data into Samaya AI's platform for financial services professionals.

According to a press release, PitchBook's data on private companies, investors, deals, and funds is now accessible within Samaya AI through question-and-answer prompts and agent workflows. The integration allows users to access private market data alongside broker research and filings without switching between platforms.

The integration gives users the ability to retrieve private company profiles, run deal comparisons, prepare for management meetings, and source transaction multiples with traceability back to primary deal-level sources.

"The data grounding AI has never mattered more, and neither has knowing where it comes from. This partnership closes the gap between speed and defensibility, bringing full traceability back to primary sources," said Tom Van Buskirk, Executive Vice President of Technology and Engineering at PitchBook.

Suharsh Sivakumar, Head of Engineering at Samaya AI, said the integration brings PitchBook's private markets data directly into customer workflows within the Samaya platform.

PitchBook stated the Samaya AI partnership is part of a broader set of AI collaborations that also includes Anthropic, Hebbia, Model ML, OpenAI, Perplexity, and Rogo. PitchBook was founded in 2007 and serves more than 100,000 clients worldwide, with over 3,000 employees across offices in Seattle, San Francisco, New York, London, Singapore, Mumbai, and other locations.
