Perfect Corp. (NYSE: PERF) has expanded its YouCam API platform with a portfolio of 11 hair and beard APIs, combining virtual try-on features with AI-powered hair diagnostics, according to a company press release.

The suite is divided into two categories. Seven APIs cover virtual try-on and style simulation, including tools for hair color, hairstyle, hair extensions, bangs, hair volume, wavy hair, and beard styles. Four APIs address hair diagnostics, offering detection of hair type, hair length, frizziness across four grades, and hair density across four grades.

The APIs are available to developers through the YouCam API platform and support Model Context Protocol (MCP), allowing integration into AI agent workflows and large language model environments, including Claude and Cursor. Developers can access a free API key through the YouCam API Playground.

Perfect Corp. claims to be the only provider offering a combined virtual try-on and hair diagnostics suite under a single developer integration. The company has not disclosed pricing details for the new API portfolio.
