SailPoint, Inc. (NASDAQ: SAIL) announced the launch of SailPoint Agentic Acceleration, an AI-powered methodology designed to help enterprises migrate from legacy, on-premises identity systems to its Identity Security Cloud platform.

The offering is built around a tool called the SailPoint Virtual Architect, which the company says automates the translation of legacy configurations, workflows, and policies into a cloud-ready deployment. SailPoint claims the process compresses migration timelines that previously took months into days.

According to the company, the Virtual Architect was trained on identity security deployments across thousands of enterprise environments. The tool allows customers to preview their applications, workflows, and provisioning processes within the Identity Security Cloud environment before committing to an upgrade.

SailPoint stated that Agentic Acceleration will be available at no additional cost to customers upgrading from its IdentityIQ product or competing legacy platforms to Identity Security Cloud, delivered through the company's forward-deployed engineers.

Matt Mills, President at SailPoint, said: "By automating the foundational heavy lifting, we are removing the primary barriers of time, cost, and risk that have slowed enterprise transformation efforts."

The company also noted that the methodology is intended to support its partner ecosystem by reducing the upfront effort required for cloud migrations, allowing partners to focus on additional security services for customers.
