Raytheon wins $57.9M Navy contract for F/A-18 repairs

Investing.com - Raytheon Co. has been awarded a $57.9 million contract by the U.S. Department of War for repair work on F/A-18 aircraft weapon systems, the government announced today.

The not-to-exceed repair delivery order (N00383-26-F-SV09) covers repairs of 15 weapon repairable assemblies for a total quantity of 480 repairs in support of the F/A-18 Aircraft System. The contract was issued under a previously awarded basic ordering agreement (N00383-23-G-SV01).

The contract includes a two-year base period of performance beginning June 2026 through June 2028 and does not include any option periods. All work will be performed in McKinney, Texas.

Fiscal 2026 working capital funds (Navy) in the amount of $17.37 million, representing 30% of the contract value, will be obligated at time of award and will expire at the end of fiscal 2026. Naval Supply Systems Command Weapon Systems Support, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is the contracting activity.

One company was solicited for this sole-source requirement pursuant to the authority set forth in 10 U.S. Code 3204 (a)(1) with one offer received.
