Dell Federal wins $1.4B Microsoft license contract from Air Force
Investing.com - Dell Federal Systems has secured a $1.4 billion contract from the U.S. Air Force to provide Microsoft enterprise software licenses and services, the Department of War announced Monday.
The firm-fixed-price call order totaling $1,437,934,084 falls under blanket purchase agreement N66001-26-A-0051 for the Microsoft Enterprise License Agreement renewal. Dell Federal Systems L.P. is based in Round Rock, Texas.
The contract covers Microsoft 365 E3/E5 and F-series enterprise software licenses, software assurance, and associated subscription services. Work will be performed at Round Rock and various other locations through an expected completion date of April 30, 2029.
The Air Force awarded the contract as a sole source acquisition. Fiscal 2026 operations and maintenance funds in the amount of $208,823,908 are being obligated at time of award.
The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center at Maxwell Air Force Base Gunter Annex in Montgomery, Alabama, serves as the contracting activity under designation FA8772-26-F-0025.
