MDLZ names Amit Banati as CFO, effective July 1
Mondelēz International (NASDAQ: MDLZ) announced the appointment of Amit Banati as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, effective July 1, 2026. Banati will report to Chair and Chief Executive Officer Dirk Van de Put and join the company's leadership team.
Banati most recently served as CFO of Kenvue, Inc. Before that, he was Vice Chair and CFO of Kellanova, formerly Kellogg Company, where he began as President for the Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa region before being promoted to CFO. Earlier in his career, he held management, financial and strategic roles at Procter & Gamble, Cadbury Schweppes and Kraft Foods, a predecessor company to Mondelēz.
With Banati's appointment, Luca Zaramella will remain as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, overseeing commercial operations including the company's four geographical regions, corporate sales, marketing and supply chain functions. Zaramella had previously served as CFO for eight years.
"Amit is a highly experienced CFO who brings a strong blend of financial leadership and commercial acumen spanning multiple consumer businesses," Van de Put said in a statement.
Mondelēz reported 2025 net revenues of approximately $38.5 billion and operates in over 150 countries.
