June 15, 2026 9:18 AM

Curator Hotel & Resort Collection announced a strategic partnership with Canary Technologies to provide AI-powered guest management tools to independent lifestyle hotels through Curator's Preferred Vendor Program.

The partnership gives Curator members preferred access to Canary's hospitality technology platform, which includes AI-powered guest communications, digital check-in services, and revenue-generating guest engagement tools. Canary Technologies operates across more than 20,000 properties worldwide.

Pebblebrook Hotel Trust (NYSE: PEB), one of Curator's founding sponsors, is implementing Canary's platform as part of its strategy to improve guest experience and operational efficiency. Pebblebrook owns 43 hotels with approximately 11,000 guest rooms across 13 markets in the United States.

"The opportunity is to provide these hotels with modern tools that reduce friction behind the scenes while preserving the human connection that makes special," said Jennifer Barnwell, President of Curator Hotel & Resort Collection.

The Canary platform includes AI voice capabilities that can handle guest calls and reservations, mobile check-in and key services, digital payment processing, and automated upselling tools. The system integrates with major property management and central reservation systems.

Raymond D. Martz, Co-President and Chief Financial Officer of Pebblebrook Hotel Trust, stated the objective is to "create a more seamless guest experience and free our hotel teams to spend more time delivering thoughtful service."

Curator Hotel & Resort Collection is a membership-based collection of independent boutique and lifestyle hotels and resorts. The partnership aims to help independent hotels access enterprise-level technology while maintaining their individual brand identity.
