Wix integrates with Microsoft 365 Copilot for website creation
Wix.com Ltd. (NASDAQ: WIX) announced a collaboration with Microsoft to integrate its Wix Harmony website creation tool into Microsoft 365 Copilot. The integration allows users to generate websites directly within the Copilot interface without switching between applications.
Users can describe their desired website through voice or text within Microsoft 365 Copilot, including business details, goals and brand preferences. The system then generates a production-ready Wix Harmony website on Wix's infrastructure, incorporating features for commerce, scheduling, payments, SEO, accessibility, performance and security.
The integration enables users to manage business functions through natural language commands within the same conversation, including inventory management, analytics review, product pricing updates and booking management. Websites can be accessed and managed either through Microsoft 365 Copilot or Wix Business Manager.
"Wix Harmony enables anyone to optimize their digital experience and turn ideas into reality," said Shahar Talmi, GM of Developer Platform at Wix. "With this collaboration, users can now also build within Microsoft 365 Copilot, eliminating the need to jump between tools."
Bryan Goode, CVP of Business Applications and Agents at Microsoft, stated that the integration reflects the direction of work environments. "Through an interactive, chat‑based experience, teams can design, build, and manage sites directly in the flow of their work," Goode said.
To access the feature, users connect the Wix app and use the "@Wix" prompt in Copilot's chat interface. The Wix app is available to Microsoft 365 Copilot users in supported markets, according to the company's press release statement.
