Fate Therapeutics appoints Laura Hamill to board of directors
Fate Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ: FATE) announced the appointment of Laura Hamill to its board of directors. Hamill brings more than three decades of commercial and strategic management experience in the biopharmaceutical industry.
Hamill most recently served as Executive Vice President, Worldwide Commercial Operations at Gilead Sciences, Inc., where she oversaw approximately $22 billion in annual revenue and managed an organization of 2,500 employees. Prior to Gilead, she spent nearly two decades at Amgen, where she held roles of increasing responsibility in the United States and internationally.
At Amgen, Hamill served as Senior Vice President, U.S. Commercial Operations, overseeing the business unit representing roughly 80% of company revenue and 2,000 employees across multiple divisions. She currently serves on the boards of BB Biotech AG and Jazz Pharmaceuticals.

Fate Therapeutics is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company developing induced pluripotent stem cell-derived cellular immunotherapies for patients with cancer and autoimmune diseases. The company uses its iPSC product platform to create off-the-shelf cell products.
