Wolfspeed names Daniel Whalen as VP of investor relations
Wolfspeed Inc. (NYSE: WOLF) appointed Daniel Whalen as Vice President of Investor Relations, effective June 15, 2026, according to a company statement.
Whalen will lead the silicon carbide technology company's investor relations strategy and engagement with the financial community. He joins from Qorvo Inc., where he served as Director of Investor Relations.
Prior to Qorvo, Whalen led investor relations at BrightView Holdings, focusing on earnings communications and analyst engagement. He began his career in equity research with more than 25 years of experience covering various industries, including specialty materials and metals sectors across buy-side and sell-side roles.
"Dan brings a highly relevant combination of investor relations leadership, semiconductor expertise, and capital markets perspective," said Gregor van Issum, CFO of Wolfspeed. "He understands how investors assess performance, strategy, and long-term value creation."
Whalen holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Bucknell University. In his new role, he will be responsible for developing Wolfspeed's engagement with investors and analysts and enhancing the company's financial communications.
The Durham, North Carolina-based company describes itself as a global leader in silicon carbide technology, producing materials, power modules, and discrete power devices for various applications.
