Enphase Energy names former NVIDIA executive to board
Enphase Energy Inc. (NASDAQ: ENPH) appointed Shanker Trivedi to its board of directors, effective immediately, the company announced.
Trivedi recently retired from NVIDIA Corporation after 17 years with the company, where he served as senior vice president of enterprise business. At NVIDIA, he led worldwide sales for data center and professional visualization products and oversaw business development across multiple industry verticals including manufacturing, healthcare, financial services, telecommunications, government and education.
"Shanker brings decades of experience building global technology businesses and has driven advances in one of the most significant technology transformations of our time — the rise of AI and accelerated computing," said Badri Kothandaraman, president and CEO of Enphase Energy.
Trivedi brings more than 30 years of leadership experience in enterprise technology, data centers, cloud infrastructure and go-to-market execution. Before joining NVIDIA, he held senior leadership positions at Callidus Software, Sun Microsystems, IBM and ICL.
"Enphase has established itself as a global leader in energy technology through a relentless focus on innovation, product quality, and customer experience," Trivedi stated.
Trivedi earned a Master of Business Administration degree from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta and a Master of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi.
Enphase Energy, based in Fremont, California, manufactures microinverter-based solar and battery systems. The company states it has shipped approximately 87.8 million microinverters, with more than 5.2 million Enphase-based systems deployed in over 165 countries.
