Oshkosh Defense to showcase hybrid electric military vehicle at Eurosatory
Oshkosh Defense LLC, a unit of Oshkosh Corporation (NYSE: OSK), will display its hybrid electric Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (eJLTV) at Eurosatory 2026 in Paris.
The eJLTV represents an advanced version of the company's combat-proven JLTV platform, which has seen more than 24,000 units produced for the United States and allied nations. The hybrid electric variant includes onboard exportable power generation, silent watch and silent drive functionality designed for distributed operations and next-generation battlefield systems.
"European and allied forces are modernizing under real operational pressure, and they also need solutions that can be fielded, sustained and integrated quickly," said Pat Williams, Chief Programs Officer at Oshkosh Defense. "The eJLTV demonstrates how Oshkosh Defense can evolve a combat-proven platform to support future power, interoperability and distributed operational requirements without forcing customers to accept the risk and timelines associated with entirely new vehicle programs."
The vehicle builds on the existing JLTV platform currently fielded by coalition forces worldwide. Oshkosh Defense stated the platform provides interoperability across coalition environments while maintaining commonality in sustainment infrastructure.
The company will exhibit the eJLTV at Booth A320 in the USA Pavilion during the defense trade show. Eurosatory serves as a venue for defense companies to showcase military equipment and technologies to European and international customers.
Oshkosh Corporation, headquartered in Wisconsin, employs over 18,000 people worldwide and manufactures vehicles and equipment under multiple brands including Pierce, JLG, and Oshkosh Defense.
